This Privacy Policy explains how Snoosh collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when people visit our website, create an account or use our services.
1. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use Snoosh, we may collect account and contact details such as name, business name, email address and telephone number; subscription and transaction information; business records you choose to enter or upload; technical information such as device, browser, log and security data; and communications you send to Snoosh.
2. Payment information
Subscription payments may be handled by third-party payment providers. Snoosh does not ask customers to send card PINs, CVVs or online-banking passwords to us. Payment providers process payment information according to their own security and privacy requirements.
3. How we use information
- To create and operate Snoosh accounts and workspaces.
- To provide bookkeeping, reporting, inventory and other requested Platform features.
- To process and administer subscriptions and billing.
- To provide customer support and respond to enquiries.
- To protect the Platform, prevent abuse and investigate security issues.
- To improve Snoosh and understand service performance.
- To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Business records
Users control the business information they enter or upload to Snoosh. Users are responsible for ensuring they have authority to provide personal information relating to customers, suppliers, employees or other people whose information they place in the Platform.
5. Sharing of information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Snoosh, such as hosting, payment processing, communications, security and technical service providers, where reasonably necessary. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights, users or the security of the service. We do not sell personal information as a product to advertisers.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their login credentials and devices.
7. Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legitimate business and security needs, resolve disputes and comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting or regulatory obligations.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable South African law, you may request access to or correction of personal information held about you and may raise concerns about how your information is handled. Some information may need to be retained where the law permits or requires it.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
Snoosh may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies that are necessary for site functionality, account sessions, preferences, security and service improvement.
10. Third-party services
The Platform may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their handling of personal information is governed by their own policies, and Snoosh is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
11. Children
Snoosh is intended as a business service and is not designed for use by children as a consumer service.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Snoosh, our practices or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on the Snoosh website.
